I had a blast hanging out with Misha this last weekend running around the Santa Cruz boardwalk laughing and enjoying the colors and perfect weather! She is full of life, laughter, joy and fun. Anyone that loves to grow and learn can take away something from her. She manages the new Santa Cruz Integrative Medicine & Chi Center and everyone should check it out!
Suzanne is amazing! She is incredible! Seriously! I met her a couple weeks ago to do her portraits and immediately could see her passion for health, activity and people. She rides her bike everywhere insted of a car and works out and teachers hundreds of students – from yoga to running and beyond! So, if you are in Newport anytime soon, keep your eyes out and you just may she Suzanne riding along side you.

I have had a blast getting to know Pro AVP Volleyball Player, Mike Morrison! He has kicked my butt working out on the beach, but yes…I am brave enough to go back tomorrow! He is also a new ambassador for lululemon and here are a few shots of him in action…

Take A Stand To Preserve This Land
A benefit to raise awareness for the preservation of the land on which Yoga Swami is built.

What: Yogi’s, surfers, runners, artists, the people unite on Hwy 101 to take a stand for this community cause. Hand stand, head stand, toe stand, tree stand, mountain stand…take your pick! Yoga Swami is collecting a $10 donation from all standers with proceeds benefitting the “Save This Space” Campaign. There will be a potluck with live music food for all to enjoy in the Yoga Swami garden. Stand one, stand all!
Date: Sunday, February 22nd
Time: Noon – 1:00PM
Where: In front of Yoga Swami and on the sidewalk of HWY 101
Intentions: Create awareness for cause with goals to find a benefactor(s) & raise funds to support campaign. 200 people will take a stand for Yoga Swami.

Today, I am thankful for America! I always have been, but for some reason today…more than ever – it hit me. Freedom hit me. The reality that today, I am free to live. Free to dream. Free to get up each day and pursue my dreams. Free to worship. Free to speak. Free to live. All because of where I live. I have been to countries where this is not the case and freedom is craved. Everyone wants to be free and some days, I take that for granted. But not today! Today, I am enjoying the beauty of America and I am thankful…
Is she really just a shy girl? Many may think so upon first meeting Allyse, but that is truly not the case! Ian brings out the best in her. Together they laugh, smile and always have fun and when you are around them, you cannot help but do the same. They dated for a while, on and off while Ian joined the military, but today their love is relentless. Ian – thank you for serving our country and for loving Allyse! Allyse – you are beautiful and so much fun to be around. I am honored to have been a part of your special day. Enjoy teaching and enjoy your photos. I hope by looking at them, you remember every special moment and every smile, emotion and laugh you guys had together on that day! Love you guys and can’t wait to hear when the little ones are on their way…
